First, the good stuff and there is ALOT of good stuff going on here. I love the high angle you've chosen and the lighting is gorgeous. Seriously, it's significantly better than I could do and I'd be thrilled to hear about how you thought out the lighting on the buildings here. You've got good atmospheric and linear perspective which gives the piece a good sense of depth.

The palette is solid and very pleasing to the eye. Everything fits and the world feels believable and livable. I also like how you've peppered the people about the image and it feels like a great market scene. I love seeing a piece I can learn stuff from and I feel like I could spend a long time dissecting this piece for educational purposes.

The only issue I have with the piece is I want to move around it and investigate everything, but I can't do it because compositionally you put one of the Anubis statues basically in the middle of the page and it draws my eye immediately. It's a great focal point but it would need to be off center just a bit to let my eye move I think. That said, it's a minor nitpick that I'm not sure anyone who wasn't an artist would notice too much.

I hope you're proud of this piece because it's VERY good work.
